Privacy policy

Shrividhya Classes (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Data we collect

• Account data — your email address, name (if provided), and authentication identifiers. Authentication is handled by Clerk; we receive only the identifiers we need to recognise you across sessions.
• Payment data — your purchases. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We store the Razorpay order and payment IDs and the amount, but we do not store your card number, CVV, or banking credentials. Those are handled directly by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
• Usage data — basic logs of which questions you view, used to operate and improve the Service. We do not sell this data.

2. How we use your data

• To create and secure your account
• To grant and verify access to purchased subjects
• To respond to support requests
• To send important service notifications (account, billing)

We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

3. Third-party processors

We rely on the following processors. Each has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle your data:

• Clerk — authentication
• Razorpay — payment processing
• Supabase — application database (hosted in India region where available)
• Bunny CDN — delivery of question and image assets

4. Data retention

We keep your account and purchase records for as long as your account is active, plus the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws (typically 7 years for payment records under Indian law). You may request deletion at any time; we will delete personal data and anonymise records we are legally required to retain.

5. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account by emailing contact@shrividhya.in. We respond within 30 days.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including HTTPS in transit and access-controlled storage at rest. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and contact us immediately if you suspect a breach of your account.

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children

The Service is intended for learners aged 13 and above. If you are under 18, please use the Service with a parent or guardian.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
